Hoghton Tower
Hoghton Tower is a historic house and gardens in wonderful surroundings. From William the Conqueror through to modern times the Tower has witnessed the lives of the de Hoghton family and welcomed many famous visitors. It is said that some of these people still make their spectral presence felt on occasions around the house. Friendly guides will lead you through history at Hoghton Tower. There are a tea room and dolls house collection too.
It's easy to reach Hoghton Tower in Chorley, by train. Simply hop on a train to Pleasington station - then it's a 25-minute walk through the fields from the station.
