It's easy to reach Drop Redoubt Fort by rail. Hop on a train to Dover Priory, which is served by Southeastern services from London and Ramsgate. From Dover Priory it's just a 16-minute walk to Drop Redoubt Fort. Simply exit the station, turn left on to Folkstone Road. Climb the stairs on your right to get on to Durham Hill, turn right again on to Princes Street and then Cowgate Hill. You'll find heritage signs pointing you to the Western Heights and Drop Redoubt Fort.
