Arundells is a splendid historic house where the former Prime Minister Edward Heath lived, with many personal items on display. It's open at most times of the year - but do check ahead for details and events. Arundells is one of the finest houses in the Cathedral Close bringing together six distinct architectural styles. The house was originally a medieval canonry, with the first recorded occupant being Henry of Blunston, Archdeacon of Dorset, who lived here from 1291 until his death in 1316.
It's easy to reach Arundells in Salisbury, by train. Simply hop on a train to Salisbury station - then it's a short walk from the station - only about 10 minutes.
