Amerton Railway is a wonderful little heritage railway out in the countryside - with a ride around the fields and a historic collection of narrow gauge rolling stock. It's a peaceful place and easy to enjoy alongside the craft centre and farm park nearby.
It's easy to reach Amerton Railway in Staffordshire, by train. Simply hop on a train to Stafford station - then it's a long way from the station! It's up in the hills, so you'll need a taxi from the station cab rank (just to the north of the entrance) or the 841 bus from the town centre.
