It's simple to reach Aberavon Small Beach, in Port Talbot, by train. Simply hop on a train to Port Talbot Parkway station and then it's just a substantial walk - but easy to reach through the town or by fairly frequent buses.
Aberavon Small Beach in Port Talbot is wide open sandy beach - but does face the steelworks so is not necessarily the most beautiful option.
