Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens is an 18th-century garden with rare plants and notable magnolia and camellia blooms, plus a restaurant too to enjoy. It is a very rural location to get to, though.
It's easy to reach Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens in Abbotsbury, by train. Simply hop on a train to Dorchester South station - then it's a bit far for a walk - it is a very rural location - but we can recommend the bus service along the B3157 from Weymouth. Dorchester South is approximately equidistant, and you'll find taxis at both.
