Animals under 6kg travel for free if they are transported in a suitable container of maximum 45x30x25cm. Animals over 6kg must have a “dog” fare ticket, and must be leashed and muzzled.

You can travel with two large suitcases and one carry-on luggage, without weight restriction. But each luggage must not exceed 75cm.

WiFi

Thalys trains have WiFi enabled through their ThalysNet portal.

Buffet car

All trains have a buffet car, where you will be able to purchase snacks and drinks.

Travelling with Thalys

Paris to Brussels

With 23 trains per day, get to Brussels in 1 hour 22 mins from Paris Gare du Nord. You will arrive at Brussels-Midi station, right in the centre of the European capital. Do not hesitate to visit the Grand place and taste the delicious Belgian chocolate.

Paris to Amsterdam

Travel from Paris to Amsterdam in just over three hours. More than 10 trains depart daily from Paris Gare du Nord to Amsterdam Centraal station, via Schiphol Airport.

Lille to Antwerp

Travel from Lille Europe station to the heart of Antwerp, and discover the diamond capital with family or friends. Only two daily trains connect the two cities and the trip lasts 1 hour 19 mins on average.

Security checks

Unlike the Eurostar, Thalys doesn’t have registration before boarding the train. You can go to the entrance of your car, with your train ticket of course, and board freely. However, there are luggages checks at the station, so we advise you to arrive at least 15 minutes before your train’s departure.
