It's easy to reach the Royal Pavilion by rail. Hop on a train to Brighton, which is served by Southern and Thameslink services from London, Southampton and Cambridge. From Brighton it's just a 12-minute walk to the Royal Pavilion. Simply exit the station, and head south down Queens Road. Turn left on to Church Street at the corner of Brighthelm Gardens and then right on to New Road. Follow the path through Pavilion Gardens to the Royal Pavillion.

The Royal Pavilion is one of Brighton's most popular landmarks. Built as a seaside retreat for King George IV, this stunning building and its grand interior will wow the kids. The surrounding gardens also make for a great picnic spot afterwards.

Visit the Royal Pavilion's website for more information and opening hours.

Whilst the current government advice is to only travel if your journey is essential, we will update this page as the situation changes. We will always provide official information on how to visit this attraction safely and responsibly by train.
