It's easy to reach Lincoln Castle by rail. Hop on a train to Lincoln station, which is served by LNER and East Midlands Railway services from London, Peterborough and Nottingham. From Lincoln, it's just a 17-minute walk to Lincoln Castle. Simply exit the station, on to St Mary's Street and turn right on to the High Street. The High Street becomes Steep Hill - follow that all the way to the Castle.
A visit to Lincoln Castle will transport you back in time - it's a great way to spend a day with the family. Wander into the grounds or simply admire the imposing walls from afar.
