Lightwater Valley's attractions are split into three categories based on visitors' height: mini adventures (for those under one metre), mega adventures (over one metre), and ultimate adventures (over 1.3 metres) - so where to visit first depends upon where you fall.
For the mini adventurers out there, the Angry Birds Activity Park is the place to head for a host of interactive play-parks, featuring tunnels, slingshots and slides. Or for a more sedate afternoon, make your way to Eagle's Farm Creek or the Lightwater Falconry Centre to spend some time with the park's many animals.
For those looking for more of a thrill, the mega-adventure part of the park has lots of rides, from the swashbuckling swing of the Pirate Swinger to the Wild River Rapids and the Falls of Terror.
Finally for the taller ones among the group, the ultimate adventure section of the park is home to Europe's longest rollercoaster - The Ultimate - which soars one-hundred feet above the park.
Need for speed sated? Then head over to one of the Lightwater Valley's many eateries, from the rustic surroundings of The Granary Cafe to the pirate-themed cuisine of the Hungry Harbour.
