Travelling by train to the Coffin Works is super-simple. The nearest major railway station to the Coffin Works is Birmingham New Street, which is served by West Midlands Railway, CrossCountry and Avanti services throughout the day. It's a 10-minute walk to the Coffin Works from the station. You can also travel to Birmingham Snow Hill for a slightly shorter transit on foot.

Newman Brothers’ Coffin Works is a rare and wonderfully preserved example of Victorian manufacturing history.  The shelves and workbenches in this time capsule museum are full of original stock and tools of the trade. With the original machinery working again, you can truly experience how this old Jewellery Quarter firm once operated on a day-to-day basis, producing some of the world's finest coffin furniture, including the fittings for the funerals of Joseph Chamberlain, Winston Churchill and the Queen Mother.

Visit the Coffin Works website for opening information.
