It's easy to reach Barnes Park by train. The nearest station to Barnes Park is Sunderland, which is served by Northern services throughout the day. The park is just over a mile and a half to the west of the station; 32 minutes on foot. If you don't fancy walking there are plenty of buses that'll get you there in under 20 minutes, including the 3, 14, 14 and 20 services.
