Getting to Disneyland Paris by Train

The best way to get to Disneyland Paris is by train. Being outside the city, you won’t be able to hop on a Metro to get there. Instead, you’ll need to take an RER line A service. Thanks to the express train line, the journey time from Paris to Disneyland can be as short as 35 minutes, although some services can take up to an hour.

You’ll need to get off the train at Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy, which is Disneyland’s station. It’s just a two-minute walk from there to Disneyland Park, Walt Disney Studios Park, and Disney Village. It’s a good idea to buy a return ticket in Paris, so you won’t need to wait in line at the end of the day.

Travelling to Disneyland Paris from the UK? You can hop on the Eurostar from London St Pancras, Ebbsfleet International, or Ashford International in Kent, and arrive at Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy in two to three hours. The Eurostar is an ideal way to whisk your family and friends into the heart of the magic if you only have the day to spare. You should book these tickets online in advance to make your journey simpler.

Let’s take a further look at some of the big attractions, so you can know what to add to your itinerary.

It’s a Small World

A Disneyland classic and an absolute must during your visit, It’s a Small World was initially created for the 1964-1965 New York World’s Fair. The attraction was replicated for the Paris park’s opening in 1992 and has been a favourite ever since.

Set sail around the world with the iconic anthem as your backing track. It’s a Small World takes riders on a journey through the Swiss Alps, Asia, Africa, the South Pacific Islands and more. The glimmering grand finale brings all the children of the world together, communicating a message of peace, love, happiness, and equality. What could be better?

Big Thunder Mountain

Hold tight! Big Thunder Mountain is one of the most exciting and exhilarating rides at Disneyland Paris, ideal for older kids, teens, and adults. Climb aboard a runaway mine cart and enjoy a trip around a haunted mountain. You’ll ascend steep heights, dive down beneath a rushing waterfall, and rattle around steep bends in a super-speedy ride you’ll want to experience again!

Indiana Jones™ and the Temple of Peril

Another of Disneyland’s most exciting rides for tweens, teens, and adults, Indiana Jones™ and the Temple of Peril is memorable from start to finish. Line up amongst dense undergrowth and prepare for a whip-cracking ride. You’ll board a railed cart and zoom around twists, turns, and spirals through the darkest corners of the ruin. Whether you’re an Indiana Jones fan or not, this is an exciting ride you won’t forget in a hurry.

Orbitron®

Head to Discoveryland® for a ride on Orbitron®, a solar-system-inspired attraction that’s perfect for all ages. This fast and futuristic ride lets you control the height of your own space vessel, which means you can soar high or keep close to the ground if you’re enjoying the experience with little ones.

Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain

Whether you’re a Star Wars fan or just looking for a memorable ride, Hyperspace Mountain is one of Disneyland’s best. The Star Wars universe has taken over Space Mountain for this unique attraction, which has visitors zooming through outer space in a super-fast rocket ship. The stunning Star Wars™ score completes the experience.

If the Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain takeover is over when you visit, head to Disneyland Paris Space Mountain anyway for a similarly unique experience.
