Great British Rail Sale

Train companies in England, working together in partnership, offered up to 50% off selected Advance tickets on over 1 million journeys from participating retailers. Where a participating train company didn't offer Advance tickets, Off-Peak tickets might have been offered as an alternative.

Tickets in the sale are for travel between Monday 25th April and Friday 27th May 2022. Tickets must be purchased a minimum of one day in advance of the date of travel.

The discount was available on selected Advance train tickets or Off-Peak train tickets as an alternative, where a participating train company didn't offer Advance tickets.

Discount ticket fares, as part of the Great British Rail Sale, are available from 10:00am, 19 April 2022 until 23.59, 2 May 2022 and are only applicable for journeys taken between 25 April 2022 and 27 May 2022. The discount applies to Advance Tickets and Off-Peak Tickets only. Discount tickets must be purchased at a minimum of 1 day in advance of travel. Please note, discount ticket fares can only be used in conjunction with a valid Railcard and cannot be used in conjunction with any other Trainline offer. Train tickets for travel with UK and non-UK train carriers and UK and non-UK coach companies are excluded. Discount ticket fares are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse the issue of any discount ticket fare at any time and to vary any and all elements of each offer at any time without notice.
