The Taming Of The Queue

 the-taming-of-the-queue

It’s seen as a traditionally British pastime, but Trainline research reveals the things we’re happy to queue for – as well as the situations where the need to wait in line drives us to frustration and anger! The research, released to mark a huge increase in the purchase of mobile train tickets, also shows that those waiting in line to buy traditional paper tickets on a daily basis are wasting an average of over three months of their working lives waiting in line.

Key findings:

-Over half of us turn a blind eye to queue-jumpers

-Londoners are the most likely to skip a queue

-We’re wasting 3½ months of our working lives queuing to buy train tickets

-The use of mobile train tickets now equals those booking cabs via mobile apps
