What is Paris Fashion Week?

Paris Fashion Week, known in French as Semaine de la mode de Paris, is a biannual fashion showcase established in 1973 by the Federation of Haute Couture and Fashion. One of the “Big Four” fashion weeks, Paris Fashion Week ends on the heels of New York Fashion Week, London Fashion Week, and Milan Fashion Week, and is rightfully the grand finale of the month-long extravaganza.

When is Paris Fashion Week?

Brands are showing their women’s spring/summer ready-to-wear collections between Sept. 23 and Oct. 1, 2024.

Where does Paris Fashion Week take place?

Known for its rich French art, fashion, and culture, Paris hosts fashion week in locations all over the city. Most of the fashion shows, runways, and presentations are usually held at Carrousel du Louvre, an underground shopping mall located in the center of Paris.
