What is London Fashion Week?

London Fashion Week is a biannual fashion showcase hosted by the British Fashion Council (BFC) since 1984.

As one of the “Big Four” fashion weeks, London Fashion Week follows New York Fashion Week and precedes Milan Fashion Week, making London the first European stop to kickstart the continent’s fashion week season. The fashion week cycle concludes with Paris Fashion Week.

Fun fact: The first designers to show at London Fashion Week included the likes of Betty Jackson, Hardy Amies, Jasper Conran, Zandra Rhodes, and John Galliano.

When is London Fashion Week?

Designers will showcase their women’s spring/summer 2025 ready-to-wear collections from Friday, Sept. 13, to Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2024.

What is the schedule for London Fashion Week?

With 2024 marking 40 years of LFW, the year will celebrate London’s position as a world-leading cultural capital and its creative community. To find the latest schedule updates, visit the London Fashion Week website. The schedule includes both digital and physical events for womenswear, menswear, and accessories.

How do you get tickets for London Fashion Week?

Unfortunately, most LFW shows are invite-only. However, the general public can participate in the "City Wide Celebration," which features free events and shows put on by brands and designers. These activities range from meeting your favorite designers in Q&A sessions and getting your hands dirty in zero-waste and upcycling workshops, to enjoying live music performances and snagging limited-edition goodies.

Your other option is to splurge on a VIP ticket for London Fashion Week. These offer rare behind-the-scenes access to select catwalk shows and an exclusive preview of the spring/summer or fall/winter collections.
