Trains from Graz Hbf to Venice

• You can take your bags on board free of charge. If you have a small bag or backpack, you can place it under your seat.
• If you’re traveling with a larger bag, you can place it on the luggage racks above your seat.
• In most cases, there are no baggage size limits. However, if you travel in Italo Smart, your bags must not be larger than 75 x 53 x 30cm (29.5 x 20.8 x 11.8 inches).

While there’s no bar or restaurant car on Italo trains, you can use the vending machines on board to get snacks and drinks during your journey.

• Italo trains offer free WiFi and a free entertainment portal called ItaloLive, where you can choose from a wide selection of movies, TV series, live news, eBooks, games, music, and podcasts.
• You can also charge your devices thanks to the power outlets that are available at your seat.

• Children aged 0-3 travel for free if they don’t occupy a seat. If an adult travels with more than one child aged 0-3, they will need to pay for a seat.
• Italo Famiglia offer: children under the age of 14 travel for free in Smart and Prima class. The family must consist of a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 travellers, and include at least 1 adult. Children aged 0 to 36 months are not included in the count and may travel without an assigned seat, sitting on an adult’s lap. Adults in the group have 50% off the Flex fare.

• You can travel with a folding bike if it’s stored in one of the dedicated luggage racks.
• The transport of traditional bicycles is not permitted.

• Pets under 5kg can travel for free on all Italo trains provided they’re placed in a carrier or cage
• Pets over 10kg will need a ticket to travel with you. They must also be kept on a leash and equipped with a muzzle.

Priority seats for passengers with reduced mobility are available on Italo trains. They’re usually located next to an accessible toilet. All accessible toilets also have tactile and Braille signs.

Air-conditioning is available on all Italo trains, as well as power outlets at every seat.

• In most cases, there are no baggage size limits. You’ll need to make sure that your baggage is compatible with the space available on board.

At the moment, a restaurant service is not available on Trenitalia's regional trains. However, you can take your own food on board so pick up some snacks at the station before you set off.

Trenitalia's regional trains do not offer an entertainment portal on board. However, you can make use of your internet data, as well as charge your devices thanks to the power outlets that are available at your seat.

Kids under 4 can travel for free if they’re accompanied by an adult and a seat is not assigned to them. Children aged 4-11 can get 50% off. Older children will need to have a full-price ticket.

• You can take your bike, hoverboard, monowheel or e-scooter free of charge if it can be folded and doesn’t exceed these dimensions: 120 x 80 x 45cm (47.2 x 31.4 x 17.7 inches).
• If your bike can’t be folded, you’ll need to buy a bike ticket or another Second Class ticket.

• Small pets can travel on Trenitalia's regional trains free of charge, if they’re placed in a carrier or cage of max dimensions of 70 x 30 x 50cm (27.5 x 11.8 x 19.6 inches).
• Bigger dogs are allowed on all trains if they have a ticket, they’re kept on a leash and equipped with a muzzle.
• Guide and assistance dogs are allowed on all trains at no additional cost.

Air-conditioning is available on Trenitalia's regional trains.

You can take unlimited luggage for free without reservation, including sports equipment. Store items under seats, overhead racks (70 × 50 × 30 cm), or larger racks by the doors for bigger suitcases.

When traveling with ICE, you can enjoy an extensive menu in the on-board restaurant, or you can grab a snack from the bistro carriage. If you choose the latter, you can enjoy your food and drink in the bistro or take it back to your seat.

Upgrade to First Class and you will be served complimentary food and drink at your seat.

DB change their menu every three months, but you will always find a wide variety of locally sourced food and drink, including a range of vegetarian and vegan dishes.

If you’re traveling on an ICE train, you can connect to the free WiFi and catch up on some work or your favorite TV show.

You can also connect to the ICE portal, where you’ll find a wide range of entertainment, such as films, television, audiobooks, games, newspapers and magazines.

On DB’s ICE trains, kids under 5 years old travel for free and don’t need a ticket. Children up to 14 years old travel for free if they are accompanied by a person who is at least 15 years old.

You can also book family areas and children compartments on all ICE trains.

With ICE, you need a bicycle ticket and reservation to take a bicycle onboard. The reservation for your bike is included in the price.

Generally, bike storage spaces are located in second class carriages. Please note that your seat and bike storage space might be located in different carriages.

You can travel with your pet on all ICE trains. You do not need an extra ticket If you have a small dog and they can travel in a transport box. If your dog or pet is bigger than the size of a house cat, you will need an additional ticket, which costs 50% less than a standard ticket. Dogs not traveling in a transport box must be on a lead and wear a muzzle.

Assistance dogs travel free of charge and do not have to wear a muzzle on the train.
