You will need to use the dedicated Eurail Rail Planner app. Already have it? Great. Load your Pass and activate it in a few clicks.

We’ll leave this part up to you! 😊
Your Eurail Pass Number is located in the confirmation email, right under the name of the passenger

1. Plan your journey
Search for train times, filter using the options button, and tap a journey for details.
2. Save your journey
Save your chosen journey to My Trip. If you’re traveling as a group, you can save a journey to as many trips as you like.
3. Add your journey to your Pass
Ready to travel? Add your journey to your Pass. For Flexi Pass holders, you’ll need to use one of your travel days if the date of your journey is not a travel day yet.
4. Show your ticket
Simply display your Pass ticket to inspectors in just 2 taps. The barcode ticket includes all your journeys for that travel day. You can show your ticket in just 2 taps: go to My Pass and tap “Show ticket”.
Usually, the ticket inspector will check you’re on the train listed on your ticket before scanning the barcode. Remember to keep your personal information close by, as they may ask to see your Passport or ID.
If you have more than one Pass on your device, you’ll have to show a ticket for each traveler with a Pass. To do this, simply choose another Pass from the list in My Pass, then tap 'Show ticket'.

What is a Flexi Pass?
Flexi Passes let you travel on a set number of days within a fixed period. For instance, if you purchase the 7 days in 1 month Pass, you have 7 travel days to use within 1 month.
What is a travel day?
With Flexi Passes, travel days are a set number of days to travel within your Pass validity.
On travel days, you can travel as frequently as you like. These days can be used whenever you like within your chosen timeframe. You can choose when to use your travel days by recording them in the Travel Calendar. To see how many travel days you have left, just check My Trip and tap My Pass – you'll also see how many travel days you have overall.
How do I know if I’m using a travel day?
Travel days are any day when you have a journey added to your Pass. When you add a journey to your Pass, you’ll be asked if you want to use one of your travel days. If you’re not sure when your travel days are, check My Pass for an overview.
Can I cancel travel days?
If you’ve changed your plans, you cancel a travel day until midnight the day before the journey. Also, if you cancel all your journeys from a travel day, you’ll receive a reminder to cancel your travel day too.
Do night trains use more travel days?
Great question! Only one travel day is needed for night trains. If the train arrives after midnight, only your day of departure requires a travel day. If you change onto another train and keep traveling after your night train arrives, you’ll need to use another travel day. But don’t worry - when you add this journey to the Pass, you’ll be asked to use another travel day.
