Travelling from Geneva to Montreux by train
Take one of the many SBB trains connecting Geneva to Montreux every day – in less than an hour you can be in the beautiful mountainous and lakeside town of Montreux. By taking the direct InterRegio train operated by SBB, you’ll enjoy both a fast and comfortable service. Benefits of taking the train as opposed to driving include better views and being able to enjoy them, no traffic and the ability to get up and down as you please. Plus, there’s a restaurant car, where you can take a break with a nice cup of coffee and/or snack during your journey.
Enjoy spectacular views at Rochers-de-Naye, the beautiful Chillon castle and if you like wine a tour at the Lavaux, Vineyard Terraces.
