SNAV is the leading Mediterranean navigation company that connects Naples with the islands of Capri, Ischia and Procida all year round and with the Aeolian Islands (Stromboli, Panarea, Salina, Vulcano and Lipari) from May to September. Additionally, it offers easy access to Croatia from March to November through the Ancona - Split route. The SNAV fleet includes hydrofoils, catamarans, fast ships, and ferries equipped with comfortable seating areas, bar/coffee service, wheelchair access, and self-service restaurant facilities (on cruise ferries to and from Croatia), ensuring a journey in total comfort and safety.
Everyone knows that finding parking in Naples is almost impossible. Not to mention the stress of catching a flight: you need to head to the airport hours before departure and join long lines at check-in. So, leave the car at home, forget about the plane, and explore the beauties of the Aeolian Islands and the islands near Naples by train!

SNAV ferries depart from two different locations in Naples:
If you arrive by train at Napoli Centrale station, you can reach Beverello pier in just 30 minutes on foot or in 15 minutes by taking metro line L1 towards Piscinola – you’ll need to get off at Municipio station, and walk to the pier for 5 minutes. If, instead, you need to go to Mergellina pier, you can take the train operated by Trenitalia from the nearby Napoli Piazza Garibaldi station and get off at Napoli Mergellina railway station: the journey takes just 16 minutes!

With Trainline, you can purchase tickets for the combined Trenitalia + SNAV service and easily reach Ischia. First, you have to get to Naples by train, then head to Porto Beverello where you’ll board a SNAV ferry to the island!
What are you waiting for? Set "Ischia Casamicciola" as your destination in our Journey Planner and find the time that's right for you. Remember that the price you see includes both the train (Frecce, Intercity, Intercity Notte and Regionali) and the ferry (not always, however, the shuttle from Naples Centrale to Beverello – you can check this when booking).
SNAV provides sea connections from Naples Mergellina pier to Stromboli, Panarea, Salina, Vulcano, and Lipari. The ferries connect the archipelago to the mainland quickly and safely, covering the entire route from Naples to Lipari in just 6 hours and 30 minutes. The stopover time at intermediate stops is approximately 10-15 minutes. The service is operational every day, from May to September.
SNAV ferries operate between Naples and Lipari only during the spring/summer season, when the weather conditions allow it. The island of Lipari is the endpoint of the route – you’ll get to immerse yourself in breathtaking natural landscapes, which tell the millennia-old history of an island dominated by Greeks, Carthaginians, Romans, Byzantines, and Arabs over the centuries.
The ferries that travel between Naples and Stromboli are generally operational from May to September. The island of Stromboli is the first destination of the ferries on the Napoli - Lipari line: famous for its volcanic cone, whose unmistakable profile is perfectly recognizable from the ferry, Stromboli is the perfect destination for those seeking tranquility, relaxation, and a place away from the chaos and mass tourism.
The island of Salina is the second largest in the archipelago. Also of volcanic origin, it is an ideal island for those in search of tradition and good food. The typical products of the island, in fact, are all to be discovered. One above all? The Malvasia delle Lipari, a typical sweet wine called the "Nectar of the Gods" by Diodorus Siculus in the 4th century BC – it’s produced right on this island!
Feel like exploring the beauty of Split and savoring local delicacies? SNAV ferries can even take you to Croatia! Although it's not possible to buy an integrated train + ferry ticket to travel to Croatia, traveling by train is always the most convenient option!
If you reach Ancona by train with Trenitalia, you are entitled to a 20% discount on your SNAV ticket to travel from the port of Ancona to Split in Croatia!

Once you board the ferry, you will need to show your train ticket along with your ferry ticket.
