Ferry timetables and tickets

Where applicable, arrival times are to be considered approximate and may be subject to variations as a result of weather and sea conditions, port traffic, limitations imposed by the authorities or other bodies not attributable to Alilauro.

If the operator is responsible, the difference between the cost of the rail + ferry ticket and the cost of the ferry ticket will be refunded.

If the departure is canceled for reasons not attributable to the operator, the passenger is due a refund of the ticket price.

The refund for missed departure or cancellation must in any case be requested within 10 days from the date of non-use.

In the event of a missed departure due to unavailability or delay of the passenger, no refund of the ticket is due. For delays or missed departures due to behavior contrary to civil and safety regulations of the passenger, sanctions will be applied to the latter in the manner and within the terms established by state laws and regulations in force.

The contract, once concluded, cannot be terminated by the contracting parties. The company, however, except for Article 400 of the Navigation Code, grants passengers who no longer intend or can no longer leave the right to obtain a refund of the passage price under the following penalty conditions:

• For tickets canceled up to 10 days before departure the refund will be 90%;
• For tickets canceled up to 2 days before departure the refund will be 50%;
• For tickets canceled within 24 hours before departure there will be no refund;
• Tickets issued with special rates are not refundable but can only be changed by €3 ($3.20) per person, plus fare integration.

Booking fees are not refundable.

The communication of the waiver by the passenger must be notified, in writing, to reservation@alilauro.it.

Refunds are made in the same way as collection within 30 days from the date of the request, net of bank charges and presale fees.

• For residents on the islands (with documents certifying it), pre-established preferential rates are recognized and subject to variations. Only full fares are applied to extraordinary journeys.
• Children aged 4 to 12 will be charged the child rate. Once they reach 12 years of age, travelers are required to pay the full fare. The age of children must always be documented and proven at the time of boarding.

Changes in the date and time of travel tickets are permitted subject to verification by the company of seat availability. They must be requested within two hours of the booked departure time. Changing the travel ticket involves the payment of a change fee of €3. The passenger is also required to pay, where applicable, any surcharges. The change is only permitted within the departures published on the timetable and is not permitted for extraordinary journeys.

For the Aeolian route, the modification of the travel ticket is permitted only upon request via email to the address reservation@alilauro.it and subject to availability within 6 hours of departure, applying a supplement of €3 for the modification, in addition to a fare adjustment if expected.

For women who have completed the 6th month of pregnancy without complications, it is mandatory to present a suitable medical certificate issued no more than 7 days before departure to be presented upon boarding.

In all other cases, it is mandatory to present the certificate authorizing the trip regardless of the month of gestation.

Failure to declare and present the requested certificate remains the responsibility of the pregnant woman.

Certification of suitability to travel is also required for passengers suffering from health problems.

Pets are allowed on board under the following conditions:

• Only one animal is allowed on board for each passenger;
• The animal must be definable as "domestic": dogs, cats, caged birds and the like are considered domestic animals;
• The animal must be small or medium in size; for particularly large animals, boarding may be denied or accepted on condition that transport takes place in particular conditions such as not to cause annoyance or damage to passengers and the vessel;
• Dogs must be equipped with a leash and muzzle;
• The presence of the animal must be declared in advance when purchasing the ticket;
• The owner must bring with him health certificates attesting to the animal's good health and vaccination status, which may be requested as necessary conditions for boarding. The date of issue of these certifications must not be earlier than three months from the date of purchase of the ticket;
• In the case of animals without a specific purchase ticket valid for boarding, an administrative penalty will be applied;
• Under no circumstances may animals occupy seats, which are intended solely for passengers.
