Travelling with Expressway
Bicycles
Standard bicycles can be carried on Expressway services for an additional €5 per single journey, subject to space availability. Bikes are transported in the coach's luggage compartment and are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Fully folded bicycles can be carried free of charge when stored securely as luggage.
Luggage
The following luggage policy applies on Expressway services: each passenger can bring one small piece of hand luggage, such as a backpack or handbag, onboard the coach free of charge. In addition, one larger item of luggage weighing up to 15kg can be stored in the luggage compartment beneath the coach.
The maximum dimensions for checked luggage are 80 x 70 x 20 cm. If you're travelling with additional or oversized items, it's worth checking the latest luggage guidelines before you travel.
Pets
Unfortunately, you can not take any pets with you on Expressway coaches. Guide and assistance dogs are excluded from these regulations. When travelling, please carry your official assistance dog identification and ensure your dog wears the appropriate harness, coat or identification tag. For cross-border journeys, you may also need to carry a pet passport.
Travelling with children
Children under 16 can travel on Expressway services at reduced child fares. One child under the age of 5 may travel free when accompanied by a responsible person aged 16 or over, and a low-cost seat reservation can be added online if you'd like to guarantee them a seat. Children aged 16–18 may also be eligible for discounted fares with a valid Child (16–18) or Student Leap Card. For younger children, parents and guardians are responsible for providing any child seats or safety equipment required for their journey.
