1. Promoter
The promoter of this prize draw is Trainline.com Limited ("Trainline", "we", "our", "us").
2. Eligibility
2.1 The prize draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.
2.2 Employees of Trainline, its group companies, agents, contractors, and anyone professionally associated with this promotion, together with members of their immediate families or households, are not eligible to enter.
2.3 By entering this prize draw, participants confirm that they are eligible to do so and are entitled to claim any prize they may win.
3. Promotion Period
3.1 The prize draw opens at 00:01 BST on 28 July and closes at 23:59 BST on 30 July ("Promotion Period").
3.2 Entries received after the closing date and time will not be accepted.
4. How to Enter
4.1 To enter, participants must comment on the designated Trainline Instagram competition post during the Promotion Period.
4.2 No purchase is necessary to enter.
4.3 Only one (1) entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries, automated entries or entries submitted using multiple accounts may be disqualified.
5. Prize
5.1 There will be two (2) winners.
5.2 Each winner will receive:
- Two (2) General Admission tickets to the Real Betis v Arsenal football match taking place on 5 August (approximate retail value: €100 per ticket); and
- One (1) £200 Trainline travel voucher to contribute towards rail travel to Dublin Ferryport.
5.3 The Trainline voucher is intended to contribute towards rail travel only. Any costs exceeding £200 and all other expenses associated with attending the match, including but not limited to accommodation, meals, local transport, insurance, passports, visas and personal expenses, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
5.4 The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative will be offered. Trainline reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equal or greater value where circumstances beyond its control make this necessary.
6. Winner Selection
6.1 Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.
6.2 Winners will be contacted via Instagram Direct Message on 31 July using the Instagram account used to enter.
6.3 Winners must respond within 24 hours of notification.
6.4 If a winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within the required timeframe, is found to be ineligible or declines the prize, Trainline reserves the right to select an alternative winner at random.
7. Prize Conditions
7.1 Match tickets are subject to the terms and conditions of the event organiser and venue.
7.2 Trainline is not responsible for any cancellation, postponement, rescheduling or alteration of the football match by the event organiser.
7.3 Winners and their guests are responsible for ensuring they can legally travel and attend the event, including obtaining any required travel documentation.
8. Publicity
8.1 By accepting the prize, winners agree that Trainline may announce their Instagram username as the winner of the promotion where required by law or for the purposes of administering the prize draw.
9. Liability
9.1 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits Trainline's liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
9.2 Subject to clause 9.1, Trainline accepts no responsibility for:
- lost, late, incomplete or misdirected entries;
- technical failures affecting entry;
- cancellation, postponement or changes to the event;
- travel disruption or missed connections;
- accidents, injury, loss or damage arising from participation in the prize draw or use of the prize, except where caused by Trainline's negligence; or
- any costs or expenses not expressly included within the prize.
10. Data Protection
10.1 Any personal data provided in connection with this promotion will be processed solely for the purpose of administering the prize draw, contacting winners and awarding prizes, in accordance with Trainline's Privacy Policy.
11. Instagram
11.1 This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Instagram.
11.2 By entering, participants release Instagram from any responsibility in connection with this promotion.
12. General
12.1 Trainline reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants and to disqualify any entrant who breaches these Terms and Conditions or who has acted fraudulently or dishonestly.
12.2 If, for any reason, the promotion cannot be conducted as planned due to events beyond Trainline's reasonable control, Trainline reserves the right to cancel, suspend or amend the promotion where reasonably necessary.
12.3 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with this promotion shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory local law provides otherwise.
