How do I renew my 26-30 Railcard online?
It’s easy to renew your 26-30 Railcard with Trainline. When you renew a Railcard with us, it’ll live on your phone in our app – accessible at the click of a button. All you’ll need to get started is an active Trainline account online. Please note that the minimum Operating System (OS) required to renew your 26-30 Railcard is iOS 15.0 and above or Lollipop on Android.

How far in advance can I renew my 26-30 Railcard?
You can renew your current Railcard up to 4 weeks in advance of its expiry date. We will let you know when your 26-30 Railcard is due to expire so you’re ready to renew it online with us.
Can I renew my 26-30 Railcard after it expires?
Yes, absolutely. If you bought a digital 26-30 Railcard online with us and it has already expired, you can renew it up to 1 year after its expiry date. Just make sure you're within the valid age range before renewing your 26-30 Railcard.
What are the age limits for renewing a 26-30 Railcard?
You can renew a 26-30 Railcard at any point up to the day before your 31st birthday. You can only renew for one year; three-year 26-30 Railcards are not available.
The savings don’t stop when you’re 31, though – you can always move on to a Two Together Railcard if you frequently travel with a partner or friend, or a Network Railcard if you’re based in the South-East of England and frequently travel into London.

Do 26-30 Railcards renew automatically?
No, unfortunately 26-30 Railcards do not renew automatically. You need to make sure that your Railcard is renewed if you don’t want to be charged a penalty fare for travelling with an expired Railcard.
