Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew (also informally referred to as Kew Gardens) is a non-departmental public body in the United Kingdom sponsored by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. An internationally important botanical research and education institution, it employs 750 staff. With a fascinating collection of trees and flowers from around the globe set across Kew's vast gardens,  huge greenhouses, and a treetop walkway you're guaranteed a great day out.

Getting to the Royal Botanic Gardens by train is easy with the nearest train station aptly named Kew Gardens a 5-minute walk away with frequent services from Richmond. You may though find Kew Bridge station is more convenient with a direct service from London Waterloo. From Kew Bridge station it is a 10-minute walk to Kew Gardens.
