Where to head when first arriving at Oakwood Theme Park depends largely on what type of day you're looking for. Families should head for the tranquillity of the Waterfall, or the sedate swing of the nearby Pirate Ship. While those with extremely little-ones will find fun times to be had in the park's Neverland section, with its host of mini rides and attractions to keep the kids entertained.
Then, of course, there are the thrill seekers, who would do best to make their way to Speed, the park's two-hundred feet, 100-kph rollercoaster, or better still, make a bee-line for Vertigo - the extreme flight experience, for adrenaline junkies only.
Once you've worked up a thrill-fuelled appetite, head on over to one of the park's tempting restaurants, such as The Oak Tree or the Little Darling Cafe - or choose from the host of other fast-food joints that are scattered around the park.
If you've still got some energy - and cash - left to burn, a trip to one of the parks many stores may be in order. Stock up on sweets from the Candy Store, or gifts and memorabilia from the Whistlestop park shop.
