About Glasgow International Airport
Glasgow International Airport is Scotland’s main hub for transatlantic and direct long-haul flights to the United States, Canada and the Gulf, with services all year round. The airport also connects passengers to a wide range of UK and European destinations, served mainly by budget airlines easyJet and Jet2.com. Departing from Glasgow Airport is a great start to any holiday or business trip. As you travel through the airport, you can make the most of the Duty Free shopping opportunities with a free Shop & Collect service, which is handy if you’ll be coming back through the airport on your way home.
In the departure lounge there is a good range of designer shops and places to grab those last-minute essentials. Or if you’re coming to the end of a visit, there’s also the chance to pick up some souvenirs of your time in Scotland. Should you want to just kick back and relax with a drink or meal, there’s a range of cafes and restaurants to suit every taste, or you could go that extra mile and pay for the Upper Deck executive lounge, refurbished in 2015, an oasis on the top floor overlooking the whole airport.
