Great Western Railway -  Plannned Service Alterations on Sunday the 3rd of February 

Due to planned service alterations on Sunday 3rd February several Great Western Railways (GWR) services have been cancelled or amended.
 
The following trains have been cancelled:
  • The 08:27, 10:27, 12:27, 14:30 and 16:30 service between London Paddington and Cheltenham Spa have been cancelled.
  • The 11:18, 13:46, 15:46, 17:46 and 19:46 service between Cheltenham Spa and London Paddington have been cancelled.
The following trains have been amended:
  • The 18:30 service between London Paddington and Cheltenham Spa will no longer call at Kemble (19:49), Stroud (20:04), Stonehouse (20:09), Gloucester (20:27) and Cheltenham Spa (20:45).
  • The 20:27 service between London Paddington and Cheltenham Spa will no longer call at Kemble (21:46), Stroud (22:01), Stonehouse (22:07), Gloucester (22:23) and Cheltenham Spa (22:38)
The following travel arrangements are in place:
  • A shuttle train service will operate between Swindon and Gloucester and a rail replacement services will operate between Gloucester and Cheltenham Spa.
  • A revised train service will operate between London Paddington and Swindon connecting with the Swindon - Gloucester trains.
  • You may use alternative train services between London Paddington and Swindon, changing trains at Swindon for Kemble, Stroud, Stonehouse and Gloucester.
  • The 18:30 & 20:27 London Paddington to Cheltenham Spa services are diverted after Swindon, not calling at Kemble, Stroud, Stonehouse, Gloucester, Cheltenham Spa. Train services will run from Swindon to Gloucester connecting with these services.
Ticket Acceptance:
  • You must travel according to the Train Operating Company and route conditions on your ticket – eg. a ticket valid on GWR Only must be used on GWR services only and tickets only valid via Kemble must be used via Kemble.
  • I you have a  Super Off Peak / Off Peak and Anytime tickets  you can travel on any service on Sunday 3/2/19 as these tickets are unrestricted at weekends
  • If you have an Advance Fare you can travel on the next service earlier or later than that reserved.
