What's Trainline for iMessage?
You may have noticed that Trainline has been pretty excited for iOS10, and our own iMessage update. iMessage is Apple’s messaging system and thanks to this most recent update it is now possible to link Trainline, directly into your messages. This means that you can let people know where you are, when you’ll arrive and share travel updates with a few taps. Easy peasy.
How to use Trainline in iMessage…
You must have the newest version of Trainline for iOS, you can download/update it here.
- Open iMessage
- In a new message, select the App Store icon.
- In the store select “Manage” and move the slider next to Trainline to the green “on” position. (This should now appear as an option when you select the App Store icon.)
- Tap Trainline and pick from your most recent journey searches.
- Choose your train time and this loads a link ready to be shared by iMessage to your chosen contact.
