Trains to Whiston

Whiston Railway Station serves the village of Whiston, Merseyside, with regular Northern trains operating on the Liverpool to Manchester Line. Trains from Whiston depart half-hourly during the week for Liverpool Lime Street from platform 1 and either Manchester Victoria or Warrington Bank Quay respectively from platform 2. In the evenings, this service becomes hourly and runs between Manchester Victoria and Liverpool only. On Sundays, trains retain the evening pattern of hourly service, but run to Manchester Airport via Piccadilly instead of Manchester Victoria.  

Whiston Railway Station is staffed throughout all hours of service, including on Sundays, and has a ticket office on platform 1 from which the full range of fares may be purchased. Both platforms have sturdy waiting shelters with bench seating, along with timetable poster boards that display train running information, digital display screens, and customer help points near the entrances. There is step-free access and interchange throughout the station.
