Trains to Waun-Gron Park

Waun-gron Park Railway Station serves the Fairwater area of Cardiff with regular Arriva Trains Wales services operating on the City Line. In typical off-peak hours, trains from Waun-gron Park run every thirty minutes each way. Eastbound trains run to Cardiff Central, Queen Street, and Coryton from platform 2 (taking approximately 8 and 28 minutes respectively); westbound trains run to Radyr from platform 1 (a journey of approximately 11 minutes). Trains do not run from Waun-gron Park Station on Sundays. 

Located close to the large suburb of Ely, Waun-gron Park is a popular commuter station yet has relatively few amenities. Self-service ticketing machines are provided from which the full range of fares may be purchased or collected ahead of travel, and train running information is provided via digital display screens. Although there is ramped access to both platforms, the ramp gradient is quite steep, making it unsuitable for passengers in wheelchairs or with prams.
