Trains to Wallasey Grove Road

Lying just a little over six miles west of Liverpool, Wallasey Grove Road Railway Station serves Wallasey in Wirral with regular Merseyrail trains. As is typical for the Merseytravel network, trains from Wallasey Grove Road run every fifteen minutes to Liverpool Central and New Brighton each during Monday to Saturday daytimes. At all other times, these trains operate half-hourly.  

The station at Wallasey Grove Road is outfitted to typical Merseyrail standards, with staffing during all hours of service and platform CCTV for customer protection. There is a large car park and cycle rack available for customer use. Platform 1 (for Liverpool-bound trains) has a payphone, vending machine, and a waiting room. Platform 2 likewise has sheltered seating. Train running information is provided via digital display screens, timetable poster boards, and automated announcements. There are separate step-free entrances to both platforms; however, platform interchange without steps is only possible via stairs or by exiting and reentering the station.
