Trains to Southampton Airport Parkway

Naturally, the majority of the Southampton Airport Parkway's traffic is passengers wishing to continue their journey by plane, so the station is incredibly well connected, receiving trains from the length and the breadth of the country - from Poole, Weymouth, Bournemouth, London Waterloo, Birmingham New Street and Manchester Piccadilly - to its two platforms. The station is also well placed for the road transport network, on two key junctions of the M3 and M27. Equally the station sees a host of trains leaving the station both for local destinations, such as Southampton and Bournemouth, and further afield to Manchester, four hours away, and London, a one-hour journey. The station is sandwiched between Southampton Airport and Southampton University recreation fields, so anyone needing to shop or grab a quick bite to eat may have to look inside the airport itself. To get into Southampton town centre, it's a seven-minute train journey along the River Itchen.
