Trains to Rectory Road

Rectory Road railway station makes up one of the stops on the Lea Valley Lines in the London Borough of Hackney. It sits between Stoke Newington and Hackney Downs around 3 miles north of London Liverpool Street. Being part of London’s Travelcard Zones mean Oyster cards can be used instead of tickets. Many parts of the station including the ticket office, waiting shelters and parts of the two platforms were constructed in the mid ‘80s. The station and the trains that pass through were handed over to London Overground by Abellio Greater Anglia and it was later added to the updated Tube map. There are four direct trains an hour to Liverpool Street in 13 minutes during peak hours and two direct services an hour to Cheshunt in 27 minutes.

When you disembark at Rectory Road railway station, you’ll be in the heart of one of London’s trendiest districts. Be sure to visit Hackney Downs to hang out with the hipsters or use the sporting facilities. Alternatively, swing by the creative workshops at the nearby Hackney Downs Studios.
