Trains to Moston

Moston Railway Station serves the Moston district of Manchester with regular Northern trains operating on the Caldervale Line. Trains from Moston run on an hourly basis, southbound to Manchester Victoria from platform 1 and northbound to Rochdale and Leeds via Dewsbury from platform 2. In the evenings, service is hourly to Manchester and Leeds via Halifax; on Sundays, trains operate only on the Manchester-Blackburn Line. Blackburn-bound services operate from platform 1. 

Bicycle stands with space for ten cycles are provided at Moston Station for customer use, but facilities are otherwise minimal. As there are no ticketing provisions present, tickets must be purchased ahead of time or on board from a guard. Waiting shelters with bench seating are installed on both platforms. Train running information is not provided by display screens, so passengers should take care when trains call. There is step-free access via variable ramp to both platforms; passengers requiring additional facilities should travel from nearby Failsworth.
