Kents Bank train station sits on the Furness Line between Cark & Cartmel and Grange-over-Sands. This village station offers daily services to Lancaster and Barrow-in-Furness. All services at the station are provided by Northen who also manage all operations. An hourly service is available to Lancaster from Monday to Friday, the weekend service for this route is slightly reduced. The town of Barrow-in-Furness is around a 35-minute journey from the station stops along this route are Cark & Cartmel, Ulverston, Dalton, and Roose.  

Step-free access is available to both platforms ramp access is next to the level crossing and via Kentsford Road entrance. Facilities at the station include a waiting room on each platform and additional outdoor seating. There are no ticketing facilities available at Kents Bank station meaning if you wish to travel from this station you must either pre-purchase a ticket or buy your ticket once on board the train.
