Iver train station sits on the Greater Western Main Line between Langley and West Drayton. Open since 1924 daily services are available to London Paddington and Didcot Parkway. The station officially has four platforms, but only platforms 3 and 4 are in use. Platform 4 sees daily services to London Paddington there are two services available each hour, the fastest journey time for this route is 26 minutes. Services arrive at platform 3 from Monday through to Friday, stops along this route include Maidenhead, Tilehurst, and Cholsey.

Plans for the station include a new Crossrail service meaning that oyster cards would be in use at the station. Facilities at the station currently include a ticket office open from Monday to Friday, shelters on both platforms and additional outdoor seating for passengers. The station is managed by TfL Rail, but services are provided by Great Western Railway.
