Trains to Heyford

Heyford train station sits on the Cherwell Valley Line between Kings Sutton and Tackley. Services and operations at this station are managed by Great Western.  The two platforms at  Heyford station offer daily services to the town of Banbury and the city of Oxford. Getting to Banbury can be as quick as 13 minutes, trains arrive daily from Monday through to Sunday. It is a 15-minute journey to Oxford station,  twelve trains arrive at Heyford from Monday to Friday this service is less frequent during the weekends.  

The location of the station means it is just a short walk to Heyford Wharf this working boatyard is a great chance to hire a boat or enjoy the cafe and gift shop available. A footbridge connects both platforms and shelters are provided for passengers awaiting their train service. A car park is available for passengers, this is operated by a private company, and there is a charge for using this facility.
