Trains to Hattersley

Situated just nine miles east of Manchester Piccadilly, Hattersley Railway Station serves the housing estate of Hattersley in Tameside, Greater Manchester, with regular Northern trains service on the Manchester-Glossop Line. During Monday to Saturday daytimes, trains from Hattersley run every thirty minutes to Manchester and Hadfield respectively. During peak hours, additional services run; in the evenings after 20:00, trains run hourly only. On Sundays, regular service is maintained.  

Hattersley Railway Station has a manned ticket office with level access from the street. The station is staffed part-time; outside of opening hours, tickets should be purchased from the self-service ticket machines at the station or on the train from a guard. Platform-level amenities include basic waiting shelters with canopies and lighting installed throughout the station. Train running information is provided via timetable posters only. As access to the platforms is via steps and walkway only, this station is not suitable for passengers requiring step-free access
