Trains to Harwich Town

One of two stations serving Harwich, Harwich Town train station acts as the eastern terminus of the Mayflower Line and sees regular trains operated by Abellio Greater Anglia. Trains from Harwich Town depart roughly once an hour towards Manningtree with some additional services at peak times. Generally, trains serve all intermediate stations, and some extend beyond Manningtree for London Liverpool Street and Colchester.

Although Harwich Town station no longer has a staffed ticket office, amenities are otherwise good, including cycle storage, a station car park and the PlusBus scheme for easy transfer between rail and bus. Customer assistance is available via the help point on the single platform, and there are also public payphones available for use. Bench seating is available underneath the canopy. Train-running information is provided via digital screens displaying departures. Additionally, there are automated announcements on the station’s PA system. There's step-free access to the platform.
