Trains to Ham Street

Tucked along a dual track stretch of the Marshlink Line, Ham Street train station serves the village of Hamstreet in Kent with regular Southern trains. Typical service operates on an hourly schedule. One train from Ham Street departs for Ashford International hourly, where fast connections to St Pancras International and London are available. One train operates in the opposite direction to Brighton, with intermediate stops including Appledore, Hastings, Polegate and Lewes. At peak times, a shuttle service runs between Ashford International and Rye.

Ham Street Station has a staffed booking office open during weekday mornings. This office is located on the Ashford-bound platform in the main station building. Two self-service ticket machines are installed on each platform. As Southern uses penalty fares, passengers should take care to purchase their tickets before boarding. Toilet facilities are available on platform 1. There are waiting shelters with bench seating present on both platforms.
