Trains to Coatbridge Sunnyside

Located nine miles east of Glasgow Queen Street, Coatbridge Sunnyside Railway Station is one of two stations serving the town of Coatbridge. Coatbridge Sunnyside sees regular trains along the North Clyde Line operated by Abellio ScotRail. During the daytime throughout the week, trains from Coatbridge depart half-hourly towards Edinburgh Waverly, Airdrie, Balloch via Glasgow Queen Street, Helensburgh Central via Glasgow Queen Street, and Milngavie via Queen Street. In the evening, half-hourly services continue to Airdrie, Edinburgh Waverly, Balloch, and Helensburgh Central. On Sundays, half-hourly services operate to Edinburgh Waverly and Helensburgh Central only.  

Coatbridge Sunnyside has an extensive carpark available for passenger use and is fully staffed during working hours throughout the week. Tickets may be purchased from the ticket office or from self-service ticket machines. Information points, payphones, refreshments, waiting rooms, and automated announcements are all available at the station. Level access is available to platform 1; platform 2 is accessed via a ramp.
