Bowling Railway station is located on North Clyde Lane in Bowling, West Dunbartonshire. It is served by Abellio ScotRail which runs from Edinburgh Waverley to Helensburgh Central via Bathgate and Glasgow Queen Street. It is also served by the historic Glasgow, Dumbarton and Helensburgh Railway, which runs adjacent to the river Clyde. The station which first opened its doors in 1858 features as the backdrop in a painting by the renowned railway artist Terence Cuneo. The station is also located a five-minute walk away from the Little Mill Distillery and further 10 minutes away from Dunglass Castle.
