Trains to Birchington-on-sea

Situated on the Chatham Main Line roughly 70 miles from London Victoria, Birchington-on-Sea serves its eponymous village with regular Southeastern trains to all destinations. Located just on the High Street, Birchington-on-Sea Station is a short walk to buses that continue to Minnis Bay and Margate. Four trains from Birchington-on-Sea operate each hour; two high-speed trains to London St Pancras via Chatham and Ebbsfleet International or Ramsgate, Deal, Dover Priory, and Ashford International, one train to London Victoria via Chatham and Bromley South on the Main Line, and one train to Ramsgate via Margate along the Main Line.  

Station facilities are extensive, and include a carpark, bicycle stands, a staffed ticket office, self-service ticket machines, payphones, toilets, waiting rooms, seating, and step-free access throughout the station.  Toilets are available by the ticket office on platform 1. Step-free access for platform 1 (London Victoria) is via the side entrance; platform 2’s step-free entrance is via the road entrance.
