Trains to Avonmouth

A terminus on the Severn Beach Line only 9 miles from Bristol Temple Meads, Avonmouth Railway Station serves the district of Avonmouth. Avonmouth is full of mixed industrial and residential usage, but the station largely sees passenger use. The station's facilities are simple, with waiting shelters, timetables, and help points available on each of the two platforms. Tickets must be purchased ahead of time, as there are currently no ticket machines available at the station.

Avonmouth Station is the primary terminus of the Severn Beach Line, with approximately 25 trains to and from Bristol Temple Meads arriving every day throughout the week, for a rate of approximately one train every forty minutes. Every two hours, a train continues to Severn Beach. On Sundays, service becomes hourly with ten trains per day, the first and last of which extend to Taunton via Weston-super-Mare. Most trains from Avonmouth call at all stations, excepting a handful of services that omit Lawrence Hill.
