Trains to Ashurst New Forest

Situated in the New Forest district, Hampshire, Ashurst Railway Station serves the village of Ashurst with trains to destinations all across the south. Originally opened as Lyndhurst Road Station, the station was renamed Ashurst (New Forest) in 1995 and is today managed by South Western Railway.

Located only a few minutes from Ashurst village centre, the station is popularly used by visitors to the New Forest. The off-peak weekday schedule sees trains from Ashurst depart hourly in both directions with stopping services especially by the London Waterloo to Poole trains. During peak weekday periods, there are also select fast trains to London Waterloo and Weymouth. The station is unstaffed, but tickets may be purchased from the self-serve ticket machine on platform 1. Shelters are available on both platforms for passenger use. Step-free access to platform 1 for trains bound to Southampton and London Waterloo is available, as is step-free interchange via the main road.
